Won’t honor same package , but if a new dealer sign up they will give good deal to get them on there platform .
Becareful when dealer try to upgrade there advertisement package. When you decide to down grade to your original listing they wont honor the same price, will tell you price went up and try to upsell you. Always get in writing before upgrading that if you decide to downgrade they will honor the same price.

Up until now my situation is very sad. For some reason this dealer thinks that i should be gratefull for him even speaking to me as he stated the company has gone bust.
Also he thinks that I am an imbecile. How has he helped me. Blagged me into paying for diagnostics on a vehicle which shouldn't have any problems. Lied to me about what's covered under a warranty which I received three weeks after purchase.
Then told I couldnt contact them straight away as the problems were there when I purchased the vehicle.
The way he speaks its as if I've driven the car and these problems have arisen after I purchased it. Anyone can see that it's impossible
As i purchased a vehicle from Paul at the above company, which certainly wasnt as described. I asked for a refund to which i was told that i couldnt as the company has gone bust. This is an utter lie. The company has just changed name to Amg motor vehicles ltd.
Along with a change of address. This man advertised this vehicle as of good quality and it came with many faults. The main reason for contacting you is that on no advertisrment does it mention that this vehicle had been written off. I found this information out later as i looked at the reg number when i had purchased the vehicle and realised something wasnt rite.
Companies house have verified that the two companies are directed by the same two people . There should have been no issue in claiming my refund as i contacted Paul the day after i drove it. It also mentions a warranty . This man sent the warranty through three weeks after i purchased rhe vehicle.
He told me that i couldnt contact them straight away as the problems came with the car at the time of sale. After much discussion along with him insisting that i should be gratefull that he is speaking to me at all..His idea of help is to lie to me about paying money out for diagnostics and how i would get the money back . I contacted the warranty company and of couse its rubbish. This man is a total rogue and i would like to prevent this from occuring again.
The sad thing is that i am undergoing chemotherapy and really needed a car to get to clatterbridge. I have had the car for a month its been off the road for three weeks. The ad makes the vehicle sound fit for purpose. The diagnostic report shows otherwise.
The advertisement which i have on my phone gives the option to go to the website.
If the companies were different it would send me to the old one. Surprise surprise it takes me to the new one.
- Good customer service

I have been advised to contact you in relation to a very nasty unfortunate incident i have had with a dealer. This dealer was AMGautomotives ltd.

Verified ReviewerThe reason for the call is because they saw my big lemonThe
Customer service was very helpful. They said they will contact the dealer and get back to me. I haven't heard anything yet.
Worst customer service. They sold me a car that had so many problems and no longer want to help me.
I've spent almost $2000 fixing it. They are rude and don't take accountability for their junk vehicles.
Preferred solution: Price reduction

Yes, they sold me a piece of garbage from the junkyard. I really had to rebuild the whole car.
The seats were unbolted, an axle was broken, there was no muffler, and I spent over $1000 on an oil change. Not to mention how detailed the car was, it was a disgrace when I got it. I think those guys got this thing from the junkyard and sold it to me.
Besides, I paid full price for that piece of garbage. Buyers, beware of this dealer.

Verified Reviewer | Belfast, BelfastPistonheads don't care about scammers
I have used Pistonheads before to buy and to sell. This time when I advertised my car a got no proper enquiries, just 6 scammers trying to get money from me.
One based in Manila stole the identity of a builder in Cardiff. I complained about this to Pistonheads - and got no response at all beyond a message saying they would get back to me.
I would ask for a refund, but I don't expect I will get anywhere.
Best to forget it and move on. If this helps to stop others from using Pistonheads I feel I have done something useful at least.
User's recommendation: Use a different sales platform, this one is not safe.

Verified ReviewerNew format
I was a big follower of cargurus.com. Then, for some reason, you changed the format.
Sorry to say, it's terrible. I used to be able to search for cars by trim and nationwide. Now, you have none of that.
I've been using iseecars.com, which is not as good as the old Cargurus but now it's better than the new Cargurus. I hope you can see that the new format is not very good.
From a long-time user,
Richard McMurtrie
- Exposure to cars nation wide according to make and trim
- New format not accessible for national coverage

@cargurs
Robert Moran & Aaron, my account manager, have stopped answering my calls. I've been promised call backs that never happened.
I wish to cancel my subscription. I'm in my rights of the cooling-off period. After a long, hard decision, I've decided to cancel due to the lack of support & false claims to call me back. I will also email the head office in the USA to make them aware.
All calls are recorded, I kept being told. And right now, I'm ever so happy they are. Very poor service and most definitely not what I was promised, by far and beyond. Shame on CarGurus for letting staff make false promises.
If this is how you conduct business, maybe this is the main reason why you're not growing quicker in the UK. Very annoyed, to say the least.
- Sounds good at time of sale
- No after sales or help once i signed up
Preferred solution: Full refund

Resolved: IMHO One of your dealers gives the used car business a bad name...
Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. I had nothing to do with the resolution...
They had no interest in me, period... Their actions were all about their agenda.
Howdy, I must be missing something...Your dealer in Phoenix, Grand Turimo has had for over 2 months a 2012 a Porsche Cayenne with an asking price of $14,499. The car has a 100,000 miles on the clock, and not very well optioned.
It seems that the cry from industry today for a mrequest for service records is, "not to worry it has a clean Car Fax". Easy to say when it's not your money. Not sure if it was this car, but 100.000 miles, the Car Fax showed routine oil and filter services and yes a major repair, new windshield wipers. Give me a break...
I hate being talked stupid to me and I guest they believe their own stuff.
Their ad said due to the time they've had this car there may be some flexibility in the price. I get a reply saying that we sold the car this morning. But a week or so goes by and I see the car again, on FaceBook and other sites at the $14.499. I fill out the paper work and submit my offer of $14,000.
I get a recap back of final costs of $15,499, a doc fee of $800,registration of 100 plus, but I'm an out of state buyer?
I appreciate it's their business and whether I like it or not they can tell me to pound sand. I replied I'm at $14,000, no more. My question still remains, what am I missing... Am I expected to roll over on their lack of follow through and what I would considerl lack fair play.
I realize that the word, Fair play and used cars shouldn't be used in the same sentence... LOL
I follow this stuff pretty close,if the car has high miles, the price goes down, nothing unusual or unreasonable about that. But if there are no service records for timing belt replacement, coolant pipes service, suspension pumps, brake pads, if not mentioned then I would consider that deferred maintenance snd the prices should share the same as high mileage.
But they don't...
I think the compamy that can figure out how to do that and still make money will be the challenge... But a big winner...
Thanks for listening...
